The Chief Minister of Kerala expressed confidence to win the Piravom By election in favour of UDF on the basis of performance for the tenure of less than one year. The Government’s determination to make Kerala the land of ooprtunities for the future generations, along with it’s human touch rooted in the theme ‘Development with Care’ will give it the much needed applause from the people of Piravom. The Government set the agenda with many of it’s actions to bring back Keralites who served the nathttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifion in various capacities to major posts to drive those organisations. Our willingness to cooperate with the Central Government and the resolve to get major projects sanctioned and facilitated from centre will be a major attitude change in governance. The stand off with the Central government for every single matter had proved wrong at the time of previous Government’s tenure.

UDF Government will continue with the reforms started by late T.M. Jacob in Civil Supplies and Public Distribution in his short stint at Government to help poor and needy. His actions to distribute 25 KG Rice at One Rupees were a sign of determination for the future actions. Government will concentrate it’s efforts to revolutionise the public distribution system to ensure the food items to the poor without any hassle.
