UDF Government will continue with the reforms started by late T.M. Jacob in Civil Supplies and Public Distribution in his short stint at Government to help poor and needy. His actions to distribute 25 KG Rice at One Rupees were a sign of determination for the future actions. The Piravom bye-election has been preponed by a day to March 17 from March 18.
Both the UDF and LDF have been demanding the change in the poll date since thehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif Election Commission made the announcement.
The LDF had earlier said that it was not in favour of postponing the poll from March 18.
The BJP, however said that it had no qualms in choosing any day for the elections.
UDF convenor PP Thankachan and opposition deputy leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said after the meet that all parties took a favourable stand in changing the date.
The Piravom bye-election has been preponed by a day to March 17 from March 18. Which was earlier announced on 18 March by the Election Commission .Both the UDF and LDF have been demanding the change in the poll date since the Election Commission made the announcement.Please click here for details
